Dr. Panda’s Restaurant 2

26 February 2014 by Eileen

Both my children enjoy all Dr. Panda apps.  We already have the Beauty Salon, Hospital, Supermarket, Handyman, Daycare and Restaurant.  I am delighted to get this Restaurant 2 for review.  Both children were so happy that they couldn’t wait to play it.

In the first edition of Restaurant, it is set in a different building with different floors whilst for Restaurant 2, it is set on an island.  To get to the island, customers have to go there via speedboat.

Dr. Panda’s Restaurant 2 review

In this app, the children take charge of their own kitchen to prepare, chop, grate, blend, fry and more with over 20 ingredients to create the perfect dish.  They have to be careful not to add too much pepper, salt or chilli etc.  Their customer will not like it.

Both children enjoy playing it and if they want to be naughty, they will add lots of salt or pepper to their customers.  They have so much fun seeing their ‘angry’ customer reactions.  They are also able to turn the Sun to moon from day to night.  If they feel mischievous, they will give Dr. Panda a tickle!

There are two customers on the island at any time but you attend to one customer at a time.  You help the customer pick up three right ingredients they want in their food and preparing it.  There is also a vegetarian option to choose.

I love how they are able to learn to pick the right ingredients to put in a dish, getting to know how the kitchen tools work and learn about food.  This is a simple app for younger children to explore different types of foods and so they can put it into practice in real life.  I give this 4 stars out of 5.

Dr. Panda’s Restaurant 2 is available worldwide at: Apple App Store, Google Play Store & Amazon App Store for Android for £1.99.  I think this is very reasonable price for the app.

I like the idea that you can help kids learn with apps as it is defiantly the way things are going now!

I haven’t come across a Dr Panda range of apps. Will have to investigate, think 6yo would enjoy these

This looks super cute! Fab to see it is available for the Kindle, so many apps aren’t
