Retro Sweets with The Gob Stopper

8 December 2013 by Eileen

This Christmas is a very sweet one especially when a beautiful jar of sweeties landed on my desk this morning! It is from The Gob Stopper, the online retro sweet shop. They are not only online but they have two shops in Hale and Lymm. They stock all kinds of sweet from vegetarian to halal sweets, chocolates, wedding favours, hampers, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and more.

The Gob Stopper Jar

I picked from the Click ‘N’ Mix, with my choice of three different sweets: cherry bonbon, blue raspberry bonbon and sweet peanuts! My son had introduced me to bonbons recently and I absolutely love them. Click ‘N’ Mix is available in 3 different sizes: small, medium and large. I had selected the Small Jar which cost £9.99. Then add all three flavours in the list and add to basket.

It comes in a small 0.5 litre original clip top glass Kilner jar and is nicely wrapped in bubble wrap. Inside the box, it was filled with foam nuggets. All three flavours of sweets are very well mixed and the colours of the sweets make the jar look really nicely presented. After the sweet finishes, the jar can be reused again for other stuff! They are definitely great to place on the kitchen top or give as a gift to any sweet tooth! Do check them out! They are fabulous!

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
