Shoes plays such an important part in our lives. We walk in them, jump in them, they protect our feet, keep us warm and cosy. Picking the right shoe is like picking the right partner – the right pair of shoes will keep you happy and comfy for a long time.
I always have a hard time finding the right type of shoe as I have a wide flat feet. My husband Mr C always call my feet flippers. There are not many wide fit styles to be found in store or online. So I am glad that Hotter Shoe company found me instead and they do have extra wide shoes.
Who are Hotter Shoe?
They are based in the beautiful county of Lancashire. They have been manufacturing stylishly, comfortable footwear for over 50 years now – started off making slippers and now they make shoes that feel as comfortable as slippers! They have over 50 shops across the UK.
I have carefully picked these beautiful and stylish Black Uptown extra wide boots. I am ecstatic that they have extra wide boots in this range! This buckle style shoe is a soft nubuck ankle boot that is perfect for casual wear. I have been wearing them daily in sunshine or rain to walk to school with my children. It has been raining and even after walking through numerous puddles, they appear to be well resistant to water. There is plenty of room for toes to wiggle and fit nicely for my wide feet.
The sole is ultra lightweight and flexes with every step you take. It took me a while to get use to how light the shoe is. The secret is that the sole is filled with air bubbles. There is a zip fastening on the side of the shoe which is easy to use. I have chosen size 8 boots and their sizing reflects my expectations of what a size 8 should be.
I love that this shoe is lightweight, flexible and breathable. They also look very stylish that I can wear with jeans or casual trousers. So what would you wear this with? Or, like me, do have any difficulties buying the right shoes? If you happen to buy from their website, do quote RJATEN to enjoy 10% off and free delivery!
