Nano-b Anti-Bacterial toothbrush

13 October 2013 by Eileen

Recently, I mentioned about my teeth and gum problem. My teeth is quite stained from not looking after them properly since young. So I have been using whitening toothpaste. Also about a month ago, I took up a toothbrush challenge where I was sent a years supply of toothbrushes (1 toothbrush per 3 months) to blog about my reviews. This is my review so far after the first month and I will update again in two months time and then also after a year.

nano-b anti-bacterial

I had not seen this Nano-b toothbrush before until another blogger introduced it to us and I accepted the challenge. I am very pleased that I took it up. Since I started using it, I can no longer feel any plaques/tartar on my teeth throughout the day. I am very impressed with the toothbrush. Nano-b comes in two types of brush: Charcoal & Gold and Silver. So what is the different between them? Charcoal & Gold is great for anyone looking to whiten teeth and remove stains whilst the silver eliminates 99.9% of bacteria on the brush, and is their best bacteria fighter.

I have been using a Charcoal & Gold (Medium) toothbrush for a month now. This brush merges the antibacterial properties of gold with the natural whitening properties of bamboo charcoal. Each bristle is coated with natural gold and bamboo charcoal dust invisible to the naked eye. The brushes come with a double-layered bristle structure. The long, thin bristles clean deeply in hard to reach areas of the mouth, gently pushing the gums upwards to remove bacteria where it gets trapped, preventing common plaque build up. The short, oval bristles gently polish the surface of the teeth. It’s amazing the difference it makes over a regular toothbrush. The bristles are very gentle to my teeth too!

Nano-b toothbrush vs. Normal toothbrush

>Nano-b is now my weapon of choice in the fight against plaque. I love how clean my teeth feel over the normal toothbrushes I’ve used in the past. For me, normal toothbrushes tends to get worn out after a month. But one unexpected nice feature about the Nano-b is that after a month, the bristles are still in great condition. Also normal toothbrushes accumulate awful smells or dirt on the tip of the toothbrush while Nano-b has kept clean so far.

What is unique to this brush is its whitening properties. Bamboo charcoal is a form of carbon, which is one of the best known natural teeth whiteners. Carbon removes acidic plaque from teeth, as well stains commonly caused by drinking coffee and smoking. My teeth is quite heavily stained and I hope in a years time I can see the difference!

The handle of the Nano-b brushes are smooth and transparent and come in a range of crystal colours. I am not very keen on these handle designs as they are as comfortable to hold compared to rubbery ones. They do look very posh and stylish though. Updated Dec 2021: I’m still using it and bought more.

Disclosure: We received the samples for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
