We went to Mercedes-Benz World

4 September 2013 by Eileen

Last month, while we went to watch Postman Pat, we also went to Mercedes-Benz World as it was nearby.  It is located on the famous Brooklands site in Weybridge, Surrey. As this was an impromptu visit, we had not planned on any driving experiences, although you can book them while you’re there, and we had just missed their vehicle show. So we went exploring the exhibitions and got up close to legendary Mercedes-Benz vehicles! We were able to sit in many cars less than £80,000. The more valuable cars were tightly locked!  My son was fantasising with all the cars.

We also paid £6 for each child to let them drive a miniature Mercedes-Benz at the indoor Little Learners area. There is a time slot. So it is best to book early at the reception. They are given approximately 10 minutes to drive around the track.

It was one of the best days out for my family as Mr C and Mr K both love cars.  Entry and the exhibitions are free but all the driving experiences cost money. I would highly recommend anyone to go!  You can spend hours in there looking at the cars!

That looks fun. I went to the Mercedes Benz museum in Stuttgart once and it was really interesting. H would love that driving track.

We went to MB word when we were camping near Chertsey earlier in the year. It was a great day out for all the family (and we aren’t petrol heads by any standard!). I loved the tour where you could sit inside a James Bond type car that wasn’t on public display it was cool xx
