Multiplayer Catchphrase App on iPad

13 August 2013 by Eileen 2 Comments

Catchphrase is a British game show where contestants have to guess the catch phrases as depicted by the animations on the screen. The shows first aired in the eighties and recently, there is a new series on ITV. If you miss the show, why not download the game?  The multi player app was launched recently which allows you to play up to two friends at the same time, while also includes 40 new multi player rounds and 65 new randomised catch phrases.

Before you download the game, it is important you read this! Please make sure that you have a Facebook account otherwise there are limited features to play as a guest. Also Facebook logins might not work if your device is running on iOS5 as Facebook no longer supports older operating systems.

Multiplayer Catchphrase App on iPad

As my iPad is iOS5, I was unable to login in to play with my friends but I was able to play as a guest. As for multi player, you are able to invite your 1 – 2 friends or random Facebook people (who have been playing the same game) to play with you at the same time. Your friends have to be online/on the app before you can start the game at the same time otherwise it will not work.

The game is exactly like the TV show where you guess the phrases. This is based on my one guest player review. I am having a hard time guessing them as I can never play games under pressure!  But Mr C managed it well! There are 20 levels for the guest. Each round there are 12 boxes to guess. If you guess it correctly, it will review a part of the super catch phrase picture. If you able to guess the picture, you win the round and move on to the next round. Overall, it is great fun and keeps me mentally active. Right, I am going back to play some more now! Ciao!
