ScareDoo Interchangeable hair Brush

17 July 2013 by Eileen 3 Comments

Ms C has long black locks and she refuses to cut it. She wants to be princess Rapunzel with long silky hair. But her hair is always tangled in the morning even though I use children’s hair conditioner and detangle conditioning spray the previous night.

Recently, I came across ScareDoo through Twitter and asked them if I could review their products.  Scaredoo is a 2 in 1 hairbrush with both detangling brush and paddle brush. They come in 5 different colours: pink, black, yellow, light and dark blue. Ms C was very impressed with her ScareDoo and wanted to use it by herself. She is only 4 year old and the ergonomically designed hand grip fits perfectly into the palm of her hand.  She can brush her hair by herself. The only place she can’t reach very well the back of her head.

scaredoo before and after

These photos are to show you the before and after. The first photo is taken after she just woke up in the morning. The middle photo is after combing using the anti-tangle brush with the 3 tier system. I was very impressed with the result. It is easy to comb without her screaming at me. Compared with a straight comb, the hair feel softer and straighter. Next, I flipped the paddle brush over to finish combing her hair.  To flip it over is quite simple by pushing the lid out and pushing it back.Overall, I am very happy with the result and it promotes Ms C to be more independent by combing her own hair. I give this 4.5 stars out of 5.  For every ScareDoo brush sold (RRP £10.99), £1 is donated to the Pink Ribbon Foundation.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
