A trip to Arthur Price Factory Shop

9 June 2013 by Eileen

Last Friday, I went to the Arthur Price Factory Shop spring sales to buy some gifts for my sister and for my husband for a Father’s Day gift. They are located in an industrial area and there is plenty of free parking. The shop is located on the first floor via a staircase. If access is an issue, they have a ground floor office available where products can be brought down for viewing. I would not recommend taking a pram or wheelchair if possible as the floor place is limited.

They have a large stock of cutlery, crockery and gifts. They cater for different budgets and their silverware ranges from the very affordable to the very best quality. I was amazed to see quality tableware selling at only 50p. Yes, 50p for a clearance plate or cutlery. There are many discounted tableware items and gifts. These are the few collections I would love to share with you.

Their staff are very friendly and helpful. If you can’t find the items you want, speak to Bev the store manager. Alternatively, you can buy it through their website. Or they can also be found in John Lewis department store.

Arthur Price is a family run company with more than 100 years’ expertise in manufacturing and retailing top quality cutlery, tableware and gifts. Their extensive cutlery shop has contemporary and classic styles to delight every taste, as well as prices to suit every home. Personally, I fell in love with their new collection Monsoon which they launched in early February. It is beautifully crafted and very elegant. Another range that caught my attention was the stunning Llewelyn-Bowen range. Beside tableware, they also have photo frames, christening gifts and many more.  I will review some of their products soon and will let you know what I think about the quality.

Personally, I love to support British companies and try to buy British make as much as possible. Also supporting local companies help reduce the carbon footprint. If you live around the Midlands, do pop by and check out their shop for yourself!
