Little Pinkies Hand Print Keyring Review

24 March 2013 by Eileen

Keyrings make a great unisex gift for anyone as everyone uses keys. This is a very unique keyring as it is not like those traditional keyrings where it comes with a ring. This personalized hand print silver plated keyring comes with a horseshoe fob. Horseshoe also means good luck or maybe quite apt for someone who just loves horses.

If you would like this for a gift, please remember to give plenty of time to do so.  It will take a few weeks to receive it.  From ordering the kits to receiving the keyring took about 2.5 weeks.

Little Pinkies Hand Print Keyring Review

Little Pinkies’s website is very easy to navigate and self explanatory to use.  I ordered one additional impression kit (for both children) which cost £55.  There are 3 shapes that you can choose from: rectangle, heart or round.

We received the kit within a few days and it was very easy to use the special inkless wipe. Firstly, we gave both children a good handwash and dried them properly. Then we used the inkless wipe to wipe their hands and press lightly onto the supplied paper. In Little Pinkies’s website, there is a video to show you how to get a good handprint if you are not sure what to do.

Once I got all the prints, I wrote my personalised message (this is printed on the back of the plate and is included in the price), and I put it in a SAE by second class. It is that simple and I just wait for a couple of days to receive the keyring and my original copies of the supplied paper.

The silver plated keyring and horseshoe fob are very solid and has no sharp edges. The handprint on the plate is rough but is not a problem at all and provides some texture to the smooth metal.  The silver does not look cheap at all and is a very beautiful item.

I rate this 5 stars out of 5. I would highly recommend anyone to try Little Pinkies.  Fiona who own Little Pinkies (no longer open) is a very nice lady. I think her price list is very reasonable, her service is brilliant and the delivery time is good.  The main thing though is the end product and I think our keyring is brilliant.

If you would like to order one for yourself or for anyone, take a look at her website. Besides keyrings, they also sell pendants, lockets, charms etc. Also it is not only for handprints. You can also have fingerprints and footprints.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
