Cadbury Banger

15 September 2014 by Eileen

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone.

After visiting Cadbury World with my children, I have always wanted to make my own chocolate character like a chocolate hand, chocolate house, chocolate ultra-man for my son etc. Then last week, #CollectiveBias had a #shop to work with Cadbury and it was like a dream come true. Now I have reasons to make a creative mess and make my own chocolate character! So I decided to make a chocolate banger to coincide with Cadbury’s competition to Win a Banger! Did you know that they are running a competition for you and your friend to win a chance to drive a prime banger from Lille to Barcelona in The Wacky Rally 2015? This is an amazing experience to be part of the 4-day Wacky Rally. You will join the 60 to 80 other cars in a ‘Barmy to Barcelona’! So don’t delay and enter now!

win a Cadbury Banger

Last Saturday, I went to my local Tesco and bought a trolley full of Cadbury chocolates bars, Pretzels, Pebbles, Ritz and Fingers. There are so many varieties of Cadbury’s milk chocolate but the one I love the most is their Dairy Milk. You can’t go wrong with plain old Dairy Milk!

After coming back from the shop, I quickly wrapped up my daughter’s toy car with cling film and broke up pieces of Cadbury’s chocolate bars for melting! I was very excited as at the same time, I was dipping my fingers to taste the yummy melted chocolate! It is so thick and runny which is great for dipping in marshmallow and for plain biscuits!

Once the chocolate melted, I poured it around the car and spread it evenly with my OXO’s icing knife. Then I waited for another 15 minutes before I put the chocolate pebbles onto the car as the headlights and pretzels as the wheels which I had iced with white icing. Then I waited until the next day before I put more icing onto the car as the window frame, Fingers as the roof rack and the Ritz as luggage!

Hope you like my chocolate banger and remember to enter the competition to win a chance to be part of the 4-day Wacky Rally. Good luck!
