Munchkin Disney Minnie Toddler Dining Set

2 June 2013 by Eileen

Disney and Munchkin, Inc., the international baby and toddler brand, have teamed up to create a fun, clever and exciting new dining range for children. A beautifully designed premium collection of feeding products and Click Lock™ cups, the Disney Collection for babies integrates the rich Disney heritage, known and loved by generations, with Munchkin’s award-winning and innovative feeding products. The range starts from £4.50 and for more information visit www.munchkin.com.

Munchkin Disney Minnie Toddler Dining Set

We were given this beautiful Munchkin Disney Minnie toddler dining set for review.  Ms C loves Disney and of course all her princesses. This dining set comes with a plate with three divided sections, a bowl, a fork and a spoon. They are very bright and colourful.  Ms C is so proud of this dining set that she wants to bring it to her preschool to show her friends.  Of course, I had to say no to her and explained that she doesn’t need it at school.

Munchkin Disney Minnie Toddler Dining Set review

What I love about the plate and bowl are that they are BPA free and it has grippy bases to prevent slipping. The plate and bowl are very well made, durable and microwavable. I love that the plate comes in three compartments so I am able to put the vegetable, sauce and main in their own compartments. It is also suitable for the top rack of a dishwasher. We don’t have a dishwasher so we can’t judge the merits of that. By hand though, they are very easy to wash.

Ms C is a fussy eater and she won’t finish her food. So we encourage her by telling her that Minnie does not like to have food on her! Minnie loves to see Ms C clearly. This seemed to work with her and she managed to finish most of her food.  We hope by encouraging her slowly that she will eventually finish her food one day. Ms C does find it a bit difficult to scoop her food using the fork and spoon as it is quite blunt and shallow. After some practice, she was able to master it well with it’s curved handle.

I rate this 4 stars out of 5. I would encourage any parents with fussy eaters who are Minnie fans to give this a go. They would definitely love this dining set and hopefully finish their food like Ms C. They would also make a nice birthday gift.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.

love miss c’s minnie mouse ears while eating! lol. compartments are so useful, my kids can be picky too and sometimes they moan if the two different kind of foods touch each other on the plate, so this kind of thing is better for them!

That looks great – love the idea of the separate compartments for food.
