Jump Rocket Triple Shotz Review

24 March 2014 by Eileen

Jump Rocket Triple Shotz is a rocket launcher that is perfect for launches of one, two or all three soft foam rockets at the same time.  They can fly up to 300 feet depend how much force you jump on!  This is suitable for ages 6 and above.

Jump Rocket Triple Shotz

Inside the box, it comes with three soft foam rockets, three launch tubes, two blue connectors, one 90 cm transparent tube and launch pad.  Take care with the soft foam rockets’ wings as they are very easily torn but I guess you could glue the wings back if required.  It is quite disappointing that the end of the launch tube broke while connecting together.  I used ducktape to stick around the launch tube and connector which fixed it well.

jump rocket triple connectorApart from the minor issues, it is very simple to fix the Rocket Shotz together.  Watch my video here where I show you how to fix it and how it works: https://youtu.be/AdZI8rrDeoo

It’s a nice feature that you can swivel each individual launch tube up to 90 degree to allow the rockets to fly in different directions.  My son loves it and had a lot of fun jumping on the launch pad to shoot the rockets.

I think Jump Rocket Triple Shotz is about average value for money.  There is definitely fun factor for the children and parents but I was not impressed with the quality of the launch tubes and the soft foam rockets.  The end of the launch tube was broken and some of the rocker foam wings came off.  The 90cm transparent tube was kinked and I have to keep rolling it to keep it from kinking again.  The quality of the launch pad is great which is able to withstand plenty of jumping on it.  Overall, I think this is an average product.

This is exactly the sort of toy that my OH loves, never mind my son! It’s a fun outdoor toy, shame the quality was a bit lacking.

That looks great, despite the little broken bit. My son would love it!
