Visualise Junior by Cartamundi

12 August 2013 by Eileen

Memory games are great games for children to play.  It improves observational skills and helps to train your brain to use and grow your ability to remember. Cartamundi is the largest global manufacturer and market leader in playing cards and cards for games. They kindly sent us a pack of Visualise Junior for review. It is suitable for 8 years and above for 2 to 6 players.

Visualise Junior by Cartamundi

It includes:

  • 31 play cards
  • 1 cover card
  • 30 second timer

The cards slightly bigger than normal playing cards, measuring 12 cm by 8 cm. It is great that it comes with a cover card to help you cover the photo.  All the cards are made out of thin matt card.  Each card is a real photo depicting day to day life. At the back of the card, there are 5 questions to answer and a fact.

As this memory games is for aged 8 years and above, my 4 year old daughter struggled to answer but my 5 year old son is quite good at it. The level of difficulty is quite hard so the recommended aged is about right. Overall, this is a nice card game with a lot of challenging questions. It is educational, fun and engaging. It comes in a flat tray for storage. Since it’s quite a small pack, it’s highly portable and can also be taken out to play on a long road trip. This is what I intend to do when I go back to Singapore which is a 13 hour flight. Just pop all the playing cards and timer inside a zip lock bag for extra convenience!

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
