Transformers Radio Control Bumblebee Review

This is the brand new Transformers The Last Knight 1:10 Jumbo Radio Control Bumblebee from Simba Smoby. This is a 2 channel radio controlled jumbo size Bumblebee with multi-directional steering capabilities. This is such a lovely replica from Transformers: The Last Knight!

This awesome looking jumbo size Bumblebee measures approximately 40 cm long, 16 cm wide and 12 cm tall. This radio control Bumblebee might look huge and heavy, but in fact, most of the body is made from plastic and it is quite lightweight. You do have to be careful not to bump too much places as it might ruin the outer body.

It requires six AA batteries for Bumblebee and two AA batteries for the hand controller. It requires no assembly and it synchronises instantly without any trouble. My children find it easier to use this C shaped hand controller as it enables them to steer with the dial with ease.

There is an on/off button located at the base of the Bumblebee. Do remember to switch it off! It does have an auto sleep mode which will turn itself off after three minutes of idling. You will need to switch it off and on to resume the function again.

Under the base of Bumblebee, it has the adjustable steering alignment on the vehicle. So whenever Mr K is unable to steer straight, he simply readjusts the alignment to correct it.

Both of my children enjoy playing with this Bumblebee and this is the first time they have had such a big RC model. They were very excited and have been building lots of obstacles for Bumblebee. But given the size of Bumblebee, it does play well outdoors.
