What is your dream pet?

7 August 2017 by Eileen

What is your dream pet? Have you ever dreamed of owning a reptile or a furry animal or maybe a unicorn? Recently, we have been challenged by Petplan, who have organized an exciting campaign for my daughter to put her artistic skills to the test by drawing her dream pet. This dream pet drawing has now been transformed into an amazing soft toy for her to keep and treasure.

Ms C’s dream pet is Pikachu who is a fictional creature that appears in an assortment of video games, animated television shows, movies, trading card games and comics.

Pikachu is the most famous Pokémon species and is covered in yellow fur with two horizontal brown stripes on its back. He also has long yellow ears and tips of the ears are supposed to be black but Ms C decided to give him rabbit’s ears and mouth!

He is a short and chubby rodent with electricity-storing pouches in its cheeks. Pikachu is a great little warrior because he has a special ability too – static, which can cause someone paralysis in battle if hit by a physical move.

Ms C always wanted a pet that can look after her and help her to fight. She loves being protected rather than being the protector. Of course, as a responsible pet owner, it is advisable to have pet insurance for all of your pets to protect them and you against any unexpected costs. We used to own a rescue Jack Russell cross, Bertie and getting insurance for him helped us pay for the expensive vet bills.

I am delighted to know that Petplan works with more animal rehoming charities than any other pet insurance provider and they are committed to supporting charities and the vital work they do in any way they can. They work with more than 1,200 charities throughout the UK and in 1994, they formed the Petplan Charitable Trust which has so far raised more than £7million towards a better, healthier world for animals. Petplan have helped millions of owners get their beloved pets back on their feet following illness and injury by offering the very best pet insurance policies and great customer service. Petplan understood that pet owners have specific needs when it comes to finding the right insurance policy, and became one of only a few pet insurance providers to offer genuine ‘lifetime’ policies. In addition to their market leading Covered for Life® policies, they also have a 12-month policy that is designed to suit all needs. Next time when we get a pet, we would definitely consider pet insurance with Petplan.

Ms C is delighted with her pet toy and will definitely treasure him! I think she is hopeful he will turn into a real pet!

Disclosure: This post has been possible thanks to Petplan, however all thoughts and opinions remain our own. This is a featured post.
