Dry Kids is an online retailer of bright and colourful children’s outdoor protective clothing that will appeal to many children and parents. Their garments are designed in the UK and specifically allow children to have plenty of freedom to move plus allow for a certain amount of layering of clothing beneath the outerwear, whilst being worn. They also have a good range of styles of protective clothing that are suitable from one to fourteen year olds.
This was our first time trying the Dry Kids range and we are impressed with the quality of the clothing and the prices are very reasonable. Their designs are very fashionable and filled with thoughtful details from foldaway hood in collar, elasticated cuffs, reflective tape detail to vented back with mesh lining.
We have received the waterproof jackets for Ms C and Mr K to try. Ms C is wearing the red colour jacket size 7-8 whilst Mr K is wearing the same style jacket in royal blue size 9-10. They both love the colour of the jackets. The waterproof fabric is made from 100% polyester PVC coated with taped seams. The jackets feels true to size and fits both of them well. Both jackets have plenty of room for children to wear their winter coats. I love that both jackets have vents on the back and underarms to allow ventilation.
These jackets also comes with two lower front pockets that also can be used to fold the jacket into the front zip pocket. The elastic around the cuffs are comfortable for them. They both are able to zip the jackets by themselves.
Soon after we have received the jackets, the weather decided to become very nice and warm. It was definitely not wanting to rain at all! In order to test these jackets, Mr C decided to use the garden hose pipe to hose both children with the jackets on! It definitely passed the waterproof test as the water simply glides off the jackets and kept both children dry. It didn’t take long to dry both jackets to enable them to be packed away.
Overall, we love the jackets. They are simply, effective and comes with reasonable price tags. I would definitely buy them again. Do check out http://www.drykids.co.uk/.
