To celebrate the release of the Beauty And The Beast movie this coming weekend in cinemas, we have received this fabulous range of Beauty And The Beast toys from Jakks Pacific to try out! We were excited when we saw this range of toys that will surely be a hit for all Disney fans.
First, we have Ballroom Belle who wears a beautiful yellow ball gown and the iconic Tree of Life pendant necklace, inspired by the film. She is 14 inches tall and has long silky and curly hair. She is very well made with good chunky body. She is great for children to cuddle and play with it. Both her shoes are removable. Ms C is already loving her. Now she can have Bella join her other Disney Princesses from Jakks Pacific.
The Enchanted Rose Jewellery Box comes with an Enchanted Rose that counts down how much time is left to break the spell, until the fate of the Beast and his enchanted staff are sealed. Besides the rose, there is a beautifully made jewellery box which comes with a small drawer to keep your jewellery safe (a plastic Feather Ring is included in the set), it is also a music box! The enchanted rose opens, closes and lights up as the iconic song “Beauty and the Beast” is played when the drawer is opened or by pressing the button which is located above the drawer. There are four modes to select from: OFF, Try Me, On and Light. If it is on Light mode, it will activate the light for 5 minutes and by pressing the button again, it will turn the light off. I do find that the music is too loud for my liking and I have placed a bit of tape over the speaker to lower the volume. It requires 3 AA batteries which are included in the set. This is such a lovely jewellery box that will look brilliant on any dresser or window sill!
Do your children like to play tea party? Then they will love this Enchanted Objects Tea Set with this fun-loving Chip, the teacup and his mother, Mrs. Potts. This beautiful set includes teapot with removable lid, sugar bowl, two spoons, two cups and two saucers. They are all very well made and I love all the attention to detail on the tea set. When you pour your tea, Mrs. Potts’ eyes blink! It does look creepy but in a good way! Also Ms C loves to wobble Chip on his saucer by spinning him around. Chip sits securely on his saucer in the groove which you can take him off at any time. The only downside is the sugar bowl as the lid won’t open. Overall we all love this set!
A Disney Princess magazine is a great way to encourage children to learn about their favourite Disney characters and to solve puzzles. Ms C loves to do it with me whenever we have time to spare!
