Geomag E-Motion 32 Review

8 May 2022 by Eileen

Swiss brand Geomag has recently released a brand new range called E-Motion, which helps learn all about invisible forces, such as acceleration, magnetism, gravity, propulsion and friction. There are three sets to collect: Blister, Display and 32. I have received the E-Motion 32 set to review.

Geomag E-Motion 32 Review

We are no strangers to the Geomag range of toys and love playing with them. My children could watch the steel spheres whizz around the sets for ages. Now with this E-Motion range, it adds a different type of endless fun that everyone can enjoy. With this set, we are now challenging each other to create the best spinning top.

This set comes with 32 pieces and is made up of a magnetic rod, steel spheres and elements of differently shaped parts. It also comes with a small storage box to keep the rods and steel spheres. It is suitable for ages five and above.

The pieces are finished to a high standard and there are no sharp edges. Best of all, 100% of the materials are made from recycled plastic. I love the vibrant colour of red and orange which makes the set stand out. It is Swiss made and all products are aligned with the most stringent European and international safety standards.

It comes with easy to follow illustrations to help you to build 8 different models, three different panels and many more to start with. Of course, you can design your very own model and challenge each other.

Once built, the models don’t take up too much table space and the best place to play the spinner is on a hard floor or table. Once you have finished playing with it, it is easy to dismantle and pack away in the storage box and the plastic zip-lock bag for keeping all the pieces safe.

This is a great starter set and you can always expand the set with other compatible E-Motion sets. It will make a fantastic gift for anyone! You can get it from good toy retailers, online and The Entertainer. Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
