Is there a better way of telling the time than an elegant pocket watch? Pocket watches are far more than just timekeepers, they are a symbol of style and prestige. It also helps to tell your story and impress others with this state of the art mechanical masterpiece.
I have always been fascinated with the pocket watch’s cogs and wheels since young and wanted one so badly. I did eventually get one and but unfortunately, I didn’t do a good job of looking after it and it broke. So, I am thrilled to receive this beautiful phoenix pocket watch for review. Also, great news for my readers as TrendHim is offering a gold-tone pocket watch to win.
Did you know that TrendHim is based in Denmark? It was founded in late 2007 by Sebastian and Mikkel when they were just 18 years old. Now they are an international brand that sells accessories online for men and deliver worldwide. They also design quality men’s accessories that are fashionable and affordable.
This classic timepiece pocket watch is adorned by the mythical bird and finished with a finely polished gold tone. It comes in a front case which opens simply by pressing the button on the dial. The see-through face allows a display of the intricate inner workings, which is quite spectacular. I love seeing the fascinating gold tone internal cogs and wheels whir and turn.
The dial is gold tone and the hands are blue. The minute numerals mark the hours on the face which I find quite unusual. This lightweight pocket watch weighs just 65g. Personally, I wish that it was slightly heavier.
It comes with a detachable chain which has a clip to hold on your coat. This watch does not require batteries. It is a mechanical movement and requires hand winding that will last up to two days. This adds to the fun as you can enjoy watching the machinery at work, witnessing all the skill that has gone into creating the movement. If you are looking for a gift, this pocket watch will make a great addition to any watch enthusiasts at an affordable price.
