Gibsons Quirk Game Review

3 August 2020 by Eileen 1 Comment

Thinking of going away and need a last-minute travel game to bring along? Why not try out this Quirk card game by Gibsons? This is a fun family card game which is suitable for aged five and above. It is for two to six players.

quirky game review

The aim of the game is to win the most ‘Quirks’ by a set of three matching cards. What makes this game so different from other games is that it has been designed to have different Characters to play with every time. Quirk! includes 26 characters for ultimate replay value. The Characters in the white set feature easier characters for younger players whilst the characters in the grey set are for older players. Or to make the game more interesting, you can mix both white and grey sets together.

quirky set up

This game is very easy and straightforward to play. All players will need to impersonate characters like ninjas, sloths, dragons and superhero characters they wish to get from the other players. When playing the game, you have to have 39 character cards, five steal cards, four stop cards, three block cards and five mischief cards. Then deal three cards to each player. At all times, all players must have three cards.

Quirk! is an amazingly-silly game for fantastically-fun people and provides interactive fun for all ages. It is available in good toy stores, online and Amazon. Also, it is compact enough that you can take out on your family travels. We all had fun playing this and hope in no time, we can play this with friends too!
