Splash! Coiledspring Games review

25 March 2020 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Splash from Coiledspring Games is a simple and fun family game. This is a great game for travel because of it’s compact nature or parties because it can be played with two to six players and for aged six and above.

This compact circular tin consists of 30 wooden pieces and 14 water drop tokens. I love that it is very easy to bring out to play and to tidy away.

Splash Coiledspring Games review

The aim of the game is pretty straightforward – simply build up a tower without knocking it down. To play, you start by dividing up the pieces equally among the players. If you are playing a four-player game, you will have two spare pieces which should be returned back to the tin.

The first player gives the player on the left a piece for him/her to place as the base. That player will then give a piece to the next person to place onto the tower but it has to same shape or colour as the previous piece. Keep passing your pieces to the next person and carry on until someone accidentally collapses the tower. The water drop token will be awarded to the active player who gave the piece that forced their neighbour to collapse the tower. To win, a player must either be the first player to place their last piece from their stock or collect three water drop tokens.

This game is so simple to play, yet fun and competitive. The concentration on children’s faces is hilarious especially when no one is allowed to breathe! The pieces come well protected inside a small circular tin to keep them safe and makes Splash! the perfect travel game you can take anywhere as it fits in your pocket! This game can be purchased from good toy stores and Amazon. For more information, please visit https://coiledspring.co.uk/product/splash/
