HINT is an entertaining guessing game through hinting via drawing, humming, talking and miming about the word for your teammates to guess. The better you are at hinting the word and your teammates guessing it correctly, the faster your team can advance on the game board. But there is a twist in this game! On each card, there is a forbidden word you are not allowed to guess! So be careful with any wild guessing as your team may lose a point! The teams take turns and the first team to make it to the finish space wins.
This game is suitable for aged 15 and above and for four or more players. Both my children are too young for the game but they managed to guess the words. All we did was remove the cards with topics that they probably won’t know.
The game comes with a game board, removable white wheel, two playing pieces, 600 cards, card box, drawing board, black felt pen, cloth, hourglass and instructions. The drawing board is well made with thick cardboard and doesn’t have any sharp corners. Everything sits perfectly inside the black tray and the only assembly is to simply stick the sticker onto the top of the black tray. Then you are ready to play by placing the playing pieces onto the side of the box. Please see the photo below.
This game has to be played with two teams with a minimum of two people each. Each team will take turns to pick a card on the wheel. To play, place three cards on the wheel.
The set up of this game is very straightforward. The theme of the cards could be either: Draw, Hum, Talk or Mime. Now pick one card and start the game. Try to guess as many of the five objects as possible in 90 seconds. The team gets one point for each correctly guessed object and loses two points if the team guesses the forbidden object. Once the time is up, your opponents have the chance to guess an unnamed object. They get one guess and score one point if they guess correctly. They will lose two points if they get it wrong! On the other hand, if they guess the forbidden object, they score two points. Now turn the wheel and put a new card in the slot where the arrow is pointing.
This is an entertaining party game for everyone. I would recommend this game if you are looking for a family or party game. It is available to buy from good retailers.
