28 October 2019 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Do you think you can beat the clock? Then why not try this quick and simple say, draw or mime Clock It! family game this half term! This is a race against the clock and is suitable for ages eight and above! It is for two players or more!

Clock It! is a brand new family game from Ideal and they have launched it just in time for this half term.

Inside this box, it comes with a light-up clock, clock board, wipe clean drawing board, pen, 80 game cards and instructions. It is very easy to set up and play. The light-up clock requires three AAA batteries which are not included. Attached to the battery compartment cap, there is a yellow key which is used to control the modes. There are four modes: Say It, Draw It, Mime It and a combo mode of all three modes.

There are two ways to play. You can either play as a team or as individuals. To play, place 12 cards around the clock-face board and start the timer, which shows the card you have to draw, mime or describe to the other players. We set up the cards and clock-face board on a whiteboard so it is easy to switch direction when the other team plays. Players must guess as many cards as possible before the time runs out. The team or players with the most cards wins the game.

We all had fun playing it as it is quite a simple and quick game. Also, the wording/pictures on the cards are easy to be seen. Ms C, who has a mild visual impairment, didn’t have any problems seeing those cards. It is a great family game to play! Clock It! is available to buy from good toy retailers, online and Amazon.  For more information, please check out Ideal Game Facebook.
