Tiger Tribe Review

7 October 2018 by Eileen

This week, we are getting crafty with two Tiger Tribe craft sets: 3D colouring set (Sci-Fi) and stained glass set (Sunbeam Dreams). Before I show you these two fun craft sets from Australia, first let me introduce the brand Tiger Tribe to you.

Tiger Tribe was started in 2007 in Australia with the vision to design children’s gifts and toys that were creative, engaging and affordable. They wanted to create products that children would play with, that tapped into a child’s imagination and sense of fun. They design compact and portable activity sets that are ideal for café play and travel. Now they are expanding their products in the UK and are available to buy from good stores and Amazon.

Tiger Tribe 3D Colouring Set Sci-Fi

Open this super cool kit to reveal a booklet of 3D colouring sheets (36 design) and a box filled with one pair of 3D glasses and 10 felt pens. The design follows the Sci-Fi theme with aliens, rockets, dinosaurs etc. Even though there are 36 sheets, some of the design are repeats.

I love this set as everything is safely contained and it comes with a magnetic flap to keep it all secure, so it’s ideal for taking it with you. The colouring sheets are approximately 5×7” in size. They are just the ideal size, especially for Ms C. She loves colouring but if the colouring area is too big, she loses interest after a while. Once you have finished colouring, wear the 3D glasses and check out the wonderful optical illusions. Ms C struggles to see because of her poor eyesight but I am able to see some of the colours jumping out of the pictures. These will keep us entertained for a while!

Tiger Tribe Stained Glass Set Sunbeam Dreams

This compact kit is packed with 36 colouring-in pages on translucent paper and 10 felt pens. Like the 3D colouring set, some of the designs are repeated and the paper size is the same.

Once you finish colouring it in, you can neatly pull them out from the pad. Then hold them up to the light and the beautiful design will glow like stained glass. Or pop them on windows for display.

These kits are suitable for aged five and above. They are great kits to bring out and about. We have been using these kits to fill in time while waiting. Ms C enjoys colouring them. I love that they are compact and portable. They are great ideas for many occasions when you need to unplug children from the gadgets.
