For the first time, the much-loved characters from the Cartoon Network series, Teen Titans GO! is on the big screen! Come and join Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, Raven and Beast Boy as they take on Hollywood!
As many of you will know, it seems all the major superheroes out there are starring in their own movies these days – all but the Teen Titans. Robin is bound and determined to remedy that situation by becoming a star instead of a sidekick. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their hearts, the Teen Titans head to Hollywood to fulfil their dreams. Things soon go awry, however, when a supervillain plans to take over the planet, putting the very fate of the young heroes on the line. Both of my children were thrilled when they saw the trailer and now we all can’t wait to watch it!
To celebrate the theatrical release of Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, we were gifted a handmade piñata, modelled on one of the film’s funny villains, Balloon Man, played by comedian Greg Davies, which was filled with lots of sweets and other surprises! We were all super-excited!
Balloon Man piñata is a gigantic size candy monster! Both of my children can’t wait to defeat him and grab all the sweeties! On the other hand, he is such a well-made and cute piñata that I refused to allow my children to smash him up! For now, he is safe but for how long, who knows?! Teen Titans Go! are coming for him!
Will Arnett (“The LEGO® Batman Movie”) and Kristen Bell (“Frozen”) lend their voices to the first-ever big-screen version of DC Entertainment and Cartoon Network’s animated TV show, which also stars Greg Cipes (TV’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”) as Beast Boy, Scott Menville (TV’s “Spider-Man”) as Robin, Khary Payton (“The Walking Dead”) as Cyborg, Tara Strong (the “My Little Pony” franchise) as Raven, and Hynden Walch (TV’s “Adventure Time with Finn & Jake”) as Starfire, reprising their roles from the series.
The film is being directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Rida Michail, from a screenplay by Michael Jelenic and Horvath, based on characters from DC. Michail, Will Arnett and Peggy Regan are producing, with Sam Register, Jelenic, and Horvath serving as executive producers. Apart from Arnett, all are “Teen Titans GO!” series contributors.
