Grether’s Pastilles Review

19 August 2018 by Eileen

Since 1850, Grether’s Pastilles are made with a great deal of care, quality, tradition and craftsmanship based on an original English recipe. They contain the highest quality pure and natural ingredients that will soothe irritation and coat overtaxed vocal cords like a protective film. This is a firm favourite with celebrities, including Ariana Grande and Katy Perry, and has been spotted on the set of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Grether’s Pastilles Review

Grether’s Pastilles are available in four deliciously intense fruity flavours that include traditional blackcurrant, delicate elderflower, super fruit blueberry and anti-inflammatory redcurrants. Each flavour is available as traditional or sugar-free in a 60g tin (£3.99), 110g tin (£5.99), 440g tin (£19.99) or 100g refill pouch (£4.23) from allcures.com. I have received a range of all these four flavours and some come in sugar-free.

Grether’s Pastilles flavours

These gorgeous pastilles are beautifully wrapped in a highly covetable and portable gold tin! Once opened, it reveals a tin full of delicious pastilles. My favourite will always be the traditional blackcurrant flavour – these are intensely flavoursome!

The elderflower is lighter in flavour compared to all the other flavours and is soothing to consume. The blueberry flavour is sweet and natural, whilst the redcurrants have a milder sweetness.

Do you know why all the pastilles have a deliciously intense fruit flavour? It is because of their unique production process where they age every single pastille for 15 weeks undisturbed to develop its unmistakeably intense taste and soothing effect before they can be consumed! No wonder, each pastille is so delicious!

Grether’s Pastilles content

My husband and I enjoyed these Grether’s Pastilles. This is a new discovery for myself! I have not noticed them on the shelves before this and I will definitely keep some handy when out and about and in the car. They are very easy to consume and to keep my mouth moist.

Grether’s Pastilles Review in tin

You don’t have to wait till you are having sore throats or strained voices to have one. I would definitely recommend them to anyone to have some handy at home! You never know when you might need them. These pastilles have long shelf lives and the gold tin will keep them safe! After the pastilles are finished, you can even use the tin as a place to store your coins or your keyless-entry car keys! It has multiple uses!
