Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge Review

30 October 2017 by Eileen Leave a Comment

This brand new Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge features a motorised bridge and multiple configurations of open system play! This stunning bridge has no limits to what can be created, especially with its full brick compatible feature! Now children can create their own outrageous stunts, experiment with speed and keep challenging themselves to epic stunts!

Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge Kit

This Stunt Bridge kit includes 70+ pieces with one car and it is part of the Track Builder system where you could expand your own tracks and have head-to-head races! Not only that, you can build your giant monster out of the packaging and bring other household items into another epic fight! How cool is that! This is suitable for aged 5 and above. It requires 2 size D batteries to run the motorised bridge which are not included.

Mr K had watched the Hot Wheels advert and had been fascinated about the set, particularly the draw bridge.

Hot Wheels Track Builder Stunt Bridge

First, we built the bridge before adding the tracks which only took us 10 minutes. As many Hot Wheels fans will know, one of the best features of Hot Wheels toys is their tracks are compatible for any Track Builder system sets. Now you get option to build more epic tracks using the tracks under the bridge.

This set comes with a motorised bridge which flips up and down at a medium speed. Occasionally I have to clip the bridge back down as the bottom hinge comes off after a few plays.

The full colour illustrated instructions provides you three different challenges to build your epic stunts. We have built two of the challenges so far. The first challenge is to aim to either get your car to jump as high as possible and tip down 90 degrees to pass through the dangerously narrow gap off the track! Or aim to get your car to jump and park onto the red platforms.

We have skipped the second challenge where you need to build the barriers on the bridge. See the photo below. This kit is fully brick compatible. So you can build your own challenge using any bricks you have at home too.

Next we built the third challenge where you get your car to crash through the barriers and through the orange flap at the end of the track! Mr K and Ms love this challenge as they aim to jump through the bridge and get their car to crash at the end. It looks easier than it is. They were both determined to nail their challenge with the perfect stunt. This is all about timing and sometimes they missed the jump and their car would fly in all directions. It is best to make sure everyone is aware of flying cars!

This kit has more than one use, so kids can keep their imaginations and their tracks growing with a series of nearly endless configurations. Do be warned that this stunt bridge took out a lot of floor space and if you have other Hot Wheels track sets like Power Booster Kit, you can expand it!

They both enjoyed playing this kit. There is only one car provided for this kit. If you have another Hot Wheels car, you can race two together for more epic stunts. The kit is well conceived and well made. Also all the parts can come off quite easily for storage. This is a great expansion for any Hot Wheels fans for this Christmas. It is available to build from good toy retailers and Amazon at RRP £49.99.
