Hasbro reveal Thor: Ragnarok Toy Line

To celebrate the release of the Thor: Ragnarok film at this end of October, Hasbro have unveiled a range of toys that includes Thor Rumble Strike Hammer, Hulk Out Mask and Hulk Smash Fx Fists. These are definitely great for role play and both of my children were so excited when they saw these.

In the film, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe and finds himself in a lethal gladiatorial contest against the Hulk, his former ally. He’s in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok, the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization, at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.

To get the children or maybe adult into characters, Hasbro have cleverly launched these awesome toys that will be loved by all.

My favourite has to be the Hulk Out Mask. Children can easily transform into the mighty Hulk with this chin-activated mask! The mask has movable eyebrows and mouth so children can change Hulk’s expressions. The wider children open their mouths, the angrier Hulk appears! Unfortunately, this is not a mask for adults. I find it too small for my face to fit onto the chin-activation. The mask is quite snug on Mr K’s face. There is soft padding around the eyes and it is secured by an elastic band and clip on the top. This mask is very well made, with good attention to detail and is fun to play with. It is definitely my face in the morning during school run!

Next, we have the Hulk Smash Fx Fists armed with gladiator deco. The right fist includes accelerometer technology that can detect different movements and responds with sound effects. To play, press the button on the right fist. You can punch air and hold the fists up for 2 seconds for sky roar effects. Punch a hard surface and hold fist down for 2 seconds for ground-breaking effects. Then punch hard surface repeatedly for increased sound effects. If they are not played with for a while, it will switch it off with a yawn to save power. It requires 2 AA batteries and demo batters are included. Both fists are made from foam materials. They are lightweight and there are straps for you to hold the fists with. Overall these fists are nicely finished except for the rough edges on the joins.

Lastly, we have Thor Rumble Strike Hammer. Wield the hammer and channel the power of the Asgardian god of thunder! This hammer is well padded with foam on both sides and with each swing, you can feel and hear the hammer rumble and shake. It has nice attention to detail with lightning deco. This is Ms C’s favourite and she is going everywhere with it! She can’t wait to scare a lot of people.

We all are a big fans of Marvel and these toys are right up our street. We love them and would definitely recommend them. They are available to buy in good toy retailers and Amazon.
