Spy Gear Ultimate Ninja Night Vision Review

25 July 2017 by Eileen

Spy Gear Ultimate Ninja Night Vision goggles is what you need to navigate through the darkness! This night vision goggles allow you to see up to 30 feet away in the dark with the use of infrared LEDs for true night vision!

When both of my children saw this, they were so excited and quickly went into a dark room to check it out. They were both very impressed with it!

The night vision goggles require three AAA batteries which are not included in the box. The on/off switch can be found on the top of the infrared eye piece.

To use the goggles for the first time, it only requires you to clip on the eye piece by slotting it in between the groove. The goggles comes with a thick black adjustable head strap and flexible eyepiece. It is comfortable to wear but we do find it slightly heavy for the children so they choose to hold onto the goggles when they move.

When you first turn it on, it shows the Spy Gear image for a couple of seconds before you are able to use it. The image is quite pixelated when you move around. It does become sharper when the image is very still. Both of my children enjoy playing with it. Personally, I find that I can’t view it for too long as it gives me headache but it doesn’t seem to affect the children. Overall this is a true night vision toy for children and they will have a lot of fun with it. I do find that it is quite pricey for a toy but it is a great quality toy that should last for a long time, provided it is well looked after. It is available in good toy retailers.

We have also reviewed the Ninja Sword and Wrist Blaster from Spin Master.
