Disney Princess Trading Card Game

Recently, Topps have launched their latest collection, the Disney Princess Trading Card Game, which includes live-action movie stills from the Beauty and the Beast film! We went to watch Beauty and the Beast the day it came out and we all loved this enchanting story. It’s nice they kept pretty close to the original animated movie and Ms C is a big fan of Disney Princesses!

This new collection features all 11 Disney Princesses from the silver screen including Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Brave, Cinderella, Mulan, Pocahontas, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Tangled, The Little Mermaid and The Princess & The Frog.

There are 192 cards to collect, including 144 movie story cards featuring some of the best moments from the movies, 32 sparkly shimmer cards featuring the Princesses along with their friends and 16 live-action Beauty and the Beast movie cards.

We have received a starter pack, two multi-packs, three Collector Tins and a box of 36 single packets. The starter pack retail £4.99 and contain five stand-up cards, collector guide, game mat, collector binder and one packet of cards.

The multi-pack retails at £5 and comes with five packets of cards plus one Super Sparkly limited edition cards.

Each Collector Tin contains 39 cards plus one limited edition card.

The single packets contains eight cards and retail at £1.  The collection is available at many stores including Martins, WH Smith, Sainsbury, One Stop, ASDA and your local newsagents.

We were so excited and overwhelmed with these cards! It took us an hour just to open and sort out the cards into our collector binder! We have almost completed our collection as we are just six cards short from the live-action Beauty and the Beast movie cards. I love the quality of the cards. They are very well made, thick and glossy. Each card has its unique beautiful moment from the movie and its own number. There is also Kindness Rating and Bravery Rating along with the Princess Symbol on the card. Later in April, I will write another blog post to share with you how to play the Disney Princess Trading Card Game using the game mat from the Starter Pack.

For the Movie Story cards, all the Disney Princesses have 13 cards except Mulan has 14 cards to collect. As for the Sparkly Shimmer cards, there are two cards each for Brave, Mulan and Pocahontas; three cards for the rest of the Princesses except Jasmine and Tiana who have four.
