Speak Out Kids Vs Parents Game Review

8 March 2017 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Speak Out Kids Vs Parents Game is a hilarious and challenging game that brings the family together for laugh-out-loud fun with this ridiculous mouthpiece! It is suitable for aged eight and above and for four to ten players.

The aim of this game is to win the most cards in your team. The game includes six mouthpieces for children, four mouthpieces for adults, 200 double-sided cards, a timer and instructions. There are two decks of cards. The blue ‘kids’ deck is filled with phrases that children might say to parents (or adults) and should be read by the children. The red ‘Parents’ deck is filled with phrases that parents might say to children and should be read by the parents. Keep the cards separate and place them on the table in front of you.

Divide the players into two teams. Every players try to say different phrases while wearing a mouthpiece that won’t let them shut their mouth. We found the adult mouthpieces too big for us so we have been using the children’s mouthpieces instead.

From our experience, we find it best to have some tissue paper nearby in case of excess saliva! Yes, it was highly gross but super fun at the same time. Try not to be so close to the player with the mouthpiece on! It might fly out from their mouth and hit you! I was hit by my son twice! The mouthpiece is such a hindrance to forming words correctly especially trying to say F and M. The mouthpieces are well made with smooth edges on the sides but not very comfortable to use. You only need to keep it on during your go though. We also each had a bowl to place the mouthpiece to keep it clean. Do remember to clean the mouthpieces properly!

I think we spent half the duration of the timer just laughing at each other. It was hard to guess the phrases but we had so much fun trying. This is definitely a great family game and I would recommend it. Speak Out Kids Vs Parents game is available to buy from good toy retailers and Amazon.
