This Christmas, we have this stunning Harry Potter Hogwarts Crest Light from Paladone which now shines a little magic on our desk. We are huge fans of Harry Potter and this beautiful Crest Light makes the perfect gift for all Harry Potter fans!
This officially licensed LED light is inspired by the iconic crest of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the light features the symbols of all four houses of Hogwarts; Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. The crest also includes the famous school motto in Latin across the bottom banner ‘Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus’ (Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon).
The light is dual powered, by either three AA batteries (not included) or USB, and comes with full instructions and micro USB cable included. To power this light, I use a USB hub to connect the cable. The provided micro USB cable is about 1.5 metre long which is a good length for you to display on your desired location.
The product is very well packed and assembling the crest plate on the base is very straightforward. Simply pop it into the gap on the top of the base. As the Crest plate is not tightly secured into the base, it is best to display this light out of reach of children. I love that there are no rough edge on the Crest plate and it looks a really good quality item.
The on/off button is on the top of the base which is easy to access. The light is warm and soothing. This is the photo of it in a dark room.
This is definitely a great gift for fans young and old. It is a lovely piece of Harry Potter memorabilia, one of the most popular and successful novel and movie franchises of all time. It is available from Paladone at £19.99 which is great value for money. I would recommend it!
