Minion Toys Review

8 December 2016 by Eileen

Minion Toys! Ever since my children watched the first Despicable Me movie, they both fell in love with these cute minions. The Minions have lived to serve the most despicable of masters. From T. Rex to Napoleon, the easily distracted tribe has helped the biggest and the baddest of villains.

Now having these Minion toys for review is like Christmas has come super early! So, let me introduce you to Bob British Invasion action figure, Minion Stuart figure, Undercover Minion figure, Minion Jerry figure, Sing n Dance Bob Interactive Minion and Minion Kevin plush toy.

minion toy figurines

Bob British Invasion action figure is a hugger. This innocent buddy embodies unconditional love for everyone and everything. He comes with poseable arms and feet. His lovely jewel crown sits neatly on his head and he has a cosy red cape with him. By pressing his pocket, you can see him move his mouth and eye lids and by moving the button at the back of his head, his eyes can look in different directions.

Minion Stuart, Undercover Minion and Minion Jerry figurines are armed with weapons. Like Bob British Invasion, they have poseable arms and feet too. Also, by pressing their pocket, you can move their eyes and mouths! They are very adorable.

Minion Stuart comes with the fart dart launcher and two darts. Pulling the back of the launcher, it will make fart sounds.

Undercover Minion in fact is Minion Stuart in disguise. He needs to blend in with the purple Minions in El Macho’s fortress to assist Gru and save Lucy. He has a homemade plunger axe that snaps right into his hand.

These figurines are made from good quality materials. They are fun and easy to pose on window sills etc. They also make great toys for role play! There are seven figurines to collect. Besides those three I have mentioned above, there is also Dave with rocket launcher, Kevin with jelly blaster, Build-A-Minion fireman and Build-A-Minion Lucy.

minion bob sings n dance

Next, we have the Sing n Dance Bob Interactive Minion who sings, talks and responds to your voice. It requires 4 AA batteries which are included in the Minion. He is soft to touch with a chunky solid hard body. Both my children love this cutie pie. He can dance by pressing the button on his left foot or by talking to him. When he starts dancing, he is all over the place! His on/off button can be found on his back along with the battery compartment. I tend to turn him off to save the batteries and to avoid accidentally activating him with our voice.

Last but not least, we have this cute Minions Kevin. He is a small plush toy that is small enough to take out with you. This will be popular with younger children.

minion toy playing

My children had a lot of fun playing with these Minions. If you are looking for the toys, they are available to buy online or instore from Toys R Us, Argos and Smyths.

Want to see the Minions in action? Then watch my video review to check them out! https://youtu.be/8Tbf-o8b6O0
