Shopkins Kinstructions Bakery Review

6 November 2016 by Eileen

Shopkins Kinstructions has been out for quite some time now and I also saw them at the Toy Fair earlier this year.  So I am thrilled to get to build this set as Shopkins is one of Ms C’s favourite toys.  This Shopkins Kinstructions Bakery comes with four Mix and Match buildable Shopkins figures: Lana Bannana Bread, Kooky Cookie, Cupcake Chic and Spongecake.

Ms C was very excited when she saw this set and couldn’t wait to build it up all by herself.  Inside this set, it comes with 193 pieces, instructions plus the four figures.  The figures are separated into three pieces and can be taken apart and rebuilt for hilarious results.  The beautiful bakery comes with an inviting street sign and fantastic bright and pink display space.

The instructions are very clear and Ms C was able to follow it all by herself.  She was able to build most of the shop but did need my help to put the windows and the street signs up.  The quality of the bricks are so-so; they are not quite the brilliant quality like a LEGO set.  But the overall colour and structure of the building are good.  The bricks are completely compatible with other leading construction brands.

This bakery shop took Ms C around 25 minutes to build and she loves to play with it.  She enjoys playing with her Shopkins figurines and displays them on the display stand.  The bakery shop is quite small in size but decent enough to play with.  The overall look is great and it will surely keep children entertained for hours.  This set would be great a present for any Shopkins fans.  It is available from good toy retailers and Amazon.  There are also Cart set, Checkout Lane, Fruit & Veggie Stand and Shopville Town Centre to collect.

My daughter loved Shopkins so this would be great for her for Christmas. She would enjoy following the instructions to make it. I like that it is so bright and colourful.
