Skylanders Academy Season One is now showing exclusively on NETFLIX and now, you can watch all 12 episodes in one go! Skylanders fans, have you watched them yet? Are you all excited with this newly launched animated series?
Skylanders Academy is based on Activision Blizzard’s pioneering video game franchise. The show follows the heroic adventures of original Skylanders Spyro the Dragon, Stealth Elf, Eruptor, Jet-Vac and Pop Fizz as they protect the Skylands universe from evil-doers.
Last week, we were invited along to London to watch the preview of the first episode before the entire first season launched. Both my children loved Skylanders ever since they first played the video game. It is about time they launched an animation series! We were so excited to get invited to this exclusive viewing.
The first episode which is 44 minutes long, gets you into the story about Spyro’s life and how he defeats Kaos to save every Skylander and restore the peace. We were enjoying watching this episode, especially we get to learn more in depth about Spyro’s character. The animation and graphics are great and it is very true to the game itself. We were also very excited that DanTDm voiced a Skylander named Cy! We did tried to spot his voice in the show but were too concentrated on the show itself!
We like the concept of this show and we can’t wait to watch the rest of the episodes which will run approximately 20 minutes each. We are looking forward to seeing what Kaos is up too! Besides watching Skylanders Academy, we also got to play the Skylanders Imaginators on the big screen. I can’t wait to share our review with you all soon. Do watch out for my blog post soon!
