Buddy Balls Review

29 July 2016 by Eileen

Buddy Balls are super soft 16” cuddly bears with a secret compartment that magically transforms into soft colourful balls.  There are four characters to collect: Max, Lily, Sam and Eva, with their paw revealing what design is hidden inside.

Max is their signature buddy who is a honey-coloured teddy bear that converts into a cherry red and bright blue ball. Lily is a cream coloured teddy bear that converts into a tangerine and hot pink ball.  Sam is a chocolate colour that turns into a bright blue and lime green ball. Whilst Eva is a mocha coloured bear that turns into a grape and lime green ball.

They all have a ‘secret’ compartment which is perfect for storing small toys or items.  To turn them into a ball, simply flip and tuck the bear into the compartment and zip him up to create a bright soft ball which is get for catching and throwing.

Watch our video review here and see how Mr K turns Max into a ball! https://youtu.be/f3E_6yxZJmY

Both of my children love and enjoy cuddling their soft fur teddy bears. Mr K thinks it is a clever idea that he is able to turn him into a ball to play with his sister and friends. Ms C thinks Lily’s back is a great hiding place for her toys! It is simple to tuck the teddy bear into the ball. The zip occasionally got caught on the fur and bits of the fur came off. The teddy bear is moulting slightly but I think that it is due to it being new and should hopefully taper off. I think this is a fun and cuddly bear for young children. It is available to buy from Mookie Toys, Argos, good toy shop and Amazon.
