Wicked Uncle Gift Website

7 May 2016 by Eileen

Do you often run out of ideas or find it hard to buy presents for your children or other people’s children? No worries as Wicked Uncle is brilliant for this and here to help. It is a gift website that stocks interesting and unusual children’s presents. They are essentially a present service for birthdays, Christmas and other occasions.

The website is easy to navigate. You can shop by gender of the child, age or categories. It will show you a range of toys that should suit that child. It allows you to easily find gifts for girls who are science mad or boys who like crafty things, and it allows you to search by areas of interest like creative, outdoorsy things etc.  There is also an option to just search ALL so you can see all the cool items they stock.

As it is Ms C’s birthday in May, I browsed for aged 7 and for girls. It showed me a range of fun and unusual gift ideas for her that I would not have thought of. I am very pleased with the choices. It has loads of games, toys, play kits and puzzles that all offer something a bit different.  This is a fantastic selection of gifts that will stretch the child’s imagination. There are a mix of quality brands like Interplay, Marvin’s Magic, Meccano, etc. and the prices are reasonable.

As we were following a budget to buy something for Ms C, I picked this purple and pink Mini Honkit for bike & scooter, 6 right socks in the Oddsocks and a pink magic wand for her. The buying process was simple and straightforward. Simply add them into the basket and check out. You have two options to pay, either by cards or PayPal. I used the latter one to pay the balance.

There are optional extras for gift wrapping, and including a handwritten card for a birthday, Christmas or a Christening. The gifts can be addressed directly to the child. They also provide a service to send you birthday reminders every year.

Once it is ordered, it will let you know when they have sent the gift along with the Royal Mail tracking number. The postage is very reasonable. The gift arrived two days later and it was very well packed.

Ms C was delighted with the gifts! She always wanted a Mini Honkit ever since Mr K had one. The magic wand includes 15 tricks to learn. She has learnt some of these and has been wandering around the house performing magic tricks for us.  Last but not least, the oddsocks are another great item!  The quality and colours are brilliant.

The package included a Thank You card for the child to fill in and send. I think this is a lovely idea for the child to write a Thank You card to the sender.

Overall I am very pleased and impressed with Wicked Uncle.  It offers lots of amazing items and I would recommend them.
