Nutella Crunch

24 January 2016 by Eileen 2 Comments

If you are a big Nutella fan, then you will love this recipe! This recipe only uses four ingredients which are butter, malt biscuits, Coco Pops and Nutella of course! These ingredients can be found in most kitchens, but if you could always substitute Coco Pops for Rice Krispies for example. When I offered to make this, both my children were super eager to help with this one!

nutella crunchIngredients:

  • 400g Nutella
  • 100g butter
  • 200g malt biscuits
  • 200g Coco Pops

Method:

  1. Place the malt biscuits into a zip lock bag and use a rolling pin to smash it up. Then add melted butter. Now place the biscuits onto the greaseproof paper in the small square tin. Freeze it for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix the Nutella together with 150g Coco Pops. Place the mixture onto the biscuit. Then add the rest of the coco pop on the top.
  3. Freeze it for at least 2 hours before cutting it. Now you are ready to serve.

This Nutella Crunch went down very well at our Chinese club. It was literally polished off within minutes by all the children. Everyone loves it as it is very chocolaty and of course, the Coco Pops gives it a delicious crunch. I will definitely make this for a children’s party in future but I will have to bake more next time!
