This book is part of the Fairytale Hairdresser series. My daughter loves this series especially as it is about a princess and the beautiful glittery front cover means she is instantly drawn to it. The book contains about 32 pages with a good size font throughout.
This book is about the time when Fairytale Hairdresser Kittie Lacey meets the Sugar Plum Fairy in this modern twist on the Nutcracker story. On the night of the winter ballet – disaster strikes! Prince Armand went missing and Land of Sweets is in danger! With the help of some enchanted toys, her princess friends and some fabulous fairytale fashion, can Kitty Lacey save the day?
My six year old daughter enjoys reading the book and love the surprise twist in the story. She finds it very interesting and intriguing. She spent ages looking at the different dresses that Sugar Plum Fairy had tired on! She loves the illustration and will keep admiring the pages! Overall the storyline is fun and the illustrations are brilliant. I would recommend it! Want to know more about the author and how her series came about, check out her video!
