Christmas Gift Guide for Bakers

28 November 2015 by Eileen

Christmas Gift Guide for Bakers. Ever since I started to follow the Great British Bake Off TV series, I have consistently been on the lookout for kitchen gadgets in an effort to improve my baking. I have tried to bake a new recipe every week and having the right tools do help a lot. Not only are they useful, but they can often be used in the background to enhance a photograph.

Throughout this year, I have bought or received useful gadgets for review and I love them. So this is my Christmas Gift Guide for Bakers! I hope it gives you an idea of what to get for your loved ones especially if they are into baking!

One of my favourite shops is the unique and bold Red Candy! They have a wide range of colourful household wares that make sourcing products so easy. I love this Joseph Joseph Nest 9 Plus. It contains 9 separate cooking and baking accessories for you to choose from. The jam-packed-set contains 5 measuring cups, a small mixing bowl, a sieve, a colander and a large mixing bowl! The great thing about them is the ability to literally store them all in one tidy-place. How I wish I had bought these years ago rather than having to buy so many different gadgets that don’t store so neatly!

All of the items in the Nest 9 Plus are dishwasher safe and both mixing bowls have a non-slip base. Each piece in the colourful range has wide handles, so pouring, carrying and shaking your food will be a safe and easy operation. When you’ve finished, each piece simply clicks into the next-in-size, ready for you to put away neatly and in one place.

Next is the Sophie Conran Cake Lifter from Arthur Price which is made from the finest stainless steel and complete with beautiful gift box. It is part of the Rivelin collection designed by Sophie Conran. This is a wonderfully useful and stylish gift for anyone who loves to bake or indeed enjoys cake.

This chic cake knife is another Sophie Conran creation for Arthur Price. It is made from high quality 18/10 stainless steel and complete with beautiful gift box. The knife is very sharp and easy to cut with.

Lastly is this beautiful personalised cake tin from I Just Love It. This is an 11cm by 24cm grey enamel cake tin with a stainless steel loop handle. You can personalise it with any message up to 20 characters long and it will be hand-painted! This has to be hand washed as abrasive cleaners and dishwasher use is not advised. This is a great cake tin to store any bake!

Hope this Christmas gift guide helps give you some ideas for what you can get for yourself or your love ones!
