little pets, big adventures dvd

If you have not watched the Littlest Pet Shop before, it is about Blythe Baxter and her dad Roger who had recently moved into a new apartment in Downtown City above the Littlest Pet Shop. Blythe discovers that she can speak to the animals that live in the Pet Shop. They beg her to help them save the Pet Shop from going out of business. Blythe races against the clock to save the Pet Shop, not only for her new furry friends but also for the Pet Shop’s eccentric owner, Mrs. Twombly. Using her talents as a fashion designer Blythe organises a fashion show featuring the animals modelling her original designs.

In this DVD, there are seven episodes from season 1 which aired in 2012/13. The episodes are:

  • Blythe’s Big Adventure – Part 1
  • Blythe’s Big Adventure – Part 2
  • Bad Hair Day
  • Gailbreak
  • Penny For Your Laughs
  • Mean Isn’t Your Colour
  • Russell Up Some Fun

This is Ms C’s first time watching it and she loves the show. Not only are the pets really adorable, they are very smart animals too. Blythe is a kind girl who loves to help the animals and gets a job working for Mrs. Twombly. Each storyline is short and sweet. The quality of the animation on this DVD is good.
