Do you believe in fairies? Like other young children, both of my children still believe in them and they were so excited to build this fairy garden! Fairy Garden is part of the Craft Box range which is one of the many ranges from Interplay. It is suitable for ages 4 onwards.
This beautiful magical kit includes everything you need to make an enchanting indoor fairy garden like plastic bowl, fairy figurine, oyster shell, cottage, clothes line with posts and pegs, blanket, carpet, grass seeds, coloured gravel, mushrooms, flowers, glitter, stars and instructions. The only thing you need is soil.
So before you start, fill the bowl with soil and then follow the instructions. Both of my children were thrilled and both wanted to decorate their garden. But we made a few compromises by splitting the jobs. While I helped them to build their cottage, they paved the pavement, scattered seeds and planted the fairy flowers. This was so exciting for both of them and they both watered the soil to complete the garden! Since then, they have been watering it every day and keep their garden near the window to get sunlight!
We all love this Fairy garden as this is not only beautifies the window sill, it teaches children some basic gardening skills. The weather outdoors can be bad and unpredictable at times, but with this little garden, they can water and nurture it every day at home!
This is a great kit and great value for money too. Besides using what is included in the kit, you could also add your own flower seeds or decoration. The bowl is big enough for other decorative materials.
