A Treasury of Christmas Stories and Songs is a book that comes with six wonderful Christmas stories, including simple retellings of traditional tales, plus 12 classic rhymes and carols. It is very beautifully illustrated for all the family to enjoy. It was released on 1st September 2014 and published by Parragon.
The book is hardback containing about 192 pages. The font is a good reading size, simple words and easy to read by school children. Each page contains a nice amount of sentences and a lots of great Christmassy illustrations, with charming soft colours.

This book is a great compilation of all the great stories and songs that every children who love Christmas should know. This book is designed to make a great introduction to the Nativity/Christmas story for young children.
We are not Christians and have not yet taught my children about Jesus and Christmas. However, I do think it’s good to learn about other religions besides our own Buddhism. This is a lovely book to learn and great for bedtime too. Both of my children enjoy listening to it.
