Easy Christmas Craft

7 December 2014 by Eileen

If you are looking to personalise your Christmas gift or Christmas tree with your children’s craft, look no further. Baker Ross have a range of pre-pack Christmas crafts for everyone. They are also great for stocking fillers.

We have received a range of their current Christmas theme crafts for us to try. There are: gingerbread house magnet kits, Christmas tree felt bookmarks, pom pom makers, remnant yarn pack and bauble coloured card blanks.

Each kit comes in neat individual packs with the items and instructions. The range of crafts supplied above are great for young children. Each kit is very easy to follow and make. Some of the crafts may require adult help.

Gingerbread House Magnet Kits

This comes with 5 self-adhesive foam picture frames. Children are able to select how they want to decorate the house with the provided foam picture. Before making this craft, it is best to get a picture measuring 8.5 cm by 4.5 cm to place on the house. We didn’t have a picture to hand so it was left empty. Once done, stick the magnet and you can now place it on the fridge.

Christmas Tree Felt Bookmarks

This comes with 8 pieces of Christmas tree felt measuring 15 cm by 8 cm and 8 pieces of red ribbon. We used the self-adhesive foam/stickers to decorate the trees. My daughter enjoyed decorating it and she decided to hang it up the tree as a Christmas bauble.

Pom Pom Makers & Remnant Yarn Pack

The pom pom makers pack comes with three different size templates: 55mm, 70mm & 90mm. This is to use along with the remnant yarn pack which comes with various colours of thread. Last year, I made my own cardboard pom pom maker template which didn’t last long. Now using these plastic templates will make my life so much easier than drawing and cutting my own template! This is so easy to use and durable. We made a 90mm pom pom. It looks huge!

Bauble Coloured Card Blanks

This kit comes with 6 assorted coloured blank cards with silver cord and envelopes. The circular cards are quite small with a 10.5cm diameter and comes with a pre-punched hole for hanging. I gave Ms C some sticker foam to decorate her cards and she is going to give the cards to her school friends.

There are so many different craft kits available on the Baker Ross website that are suitable for rainy days or even birthday parties! Do have a peek at their kits for easy crafts with children. In October, we also received a batch of Christmas crafts to make. Do have a look at the 5 easy Christmas crafts.

Disclosure: We received the sample for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
