Recently, Baker Ross sent us their lovely range of Christmas crafts for us to try. There are: hand puppet sewing kits, sequin decoration kits, foam card kits, reindeer cards, owl ceramic trinket boxes, felt star stickers, pudding felt stickers and glitter porcelain & glass paint pens.
Each kit comes in neat individual packs with the items and instructions. The range of crafts supplied above are great for young children. Each kits are very easy to follow and make. Some of the crafts may require adult help.
Christmas Hand Puppet Sewing Kits
This kit comes with three different characters: Santa, snowman and reindeer. Both of my children were happily threading it but did get quite tired after a while. Sewing is great to train their fine motor skills. After sewing, the next part is to stick all the felt according to the picture shown. Fab for a puppet show!
Christmas Sequin Decoration Kits
Like the Hand Puppet Sewing Kit, this kit comes with Santa, snowman and reindeer characters. Inside this kit, it comes with transparent pins that could be dangerous to younger children. My children love pinning the transparent pins with the glitter onto the styrofoam semi-ball. These are beautiful for hanging on the Christmas tree!
Christmas Foam Card Kits
As with the previous two kits, this kit comes with Santa, snowman and reindeer characters. It uses easy peel foam that allows children to decorate the foam cards more easily. Then use a marker pen to write your message inside the foam! These are very cute and lovely cards!
Reindeer Blank Cards
In this kit, there are four orange coloured cards, four cream coloured cards and eight envelopes supplied. Since these cards are blank, you are able to be really creative with these. For example, you could use sticker felts, marker pens or colour it!
Owl Ceramic Trinket Boxes
These are four ceramic owls provided in a box which is safely packed with bubble wrap. You could paint it, use marker pens or add glitter to it. These owls are great to store small items.
There are a lot of craft kits on the Baker Ross website that are suitable for rainy days or even birthday parties! Do have a peek at their kits for easy crafts with children.
