Hotter Shoes Review

10 October 2014 by Eileen

A few weeks ago, I was invited to a Hotter Shoes event to get to know more about their shoes and their company. I am ecstatic to learn that they produce their own shoes in the UK! In fact, they are the UK’s biggest shoe manufacturer and make a pair of shoes every 20 seconds. They started off making slippers and now they have grown to make shoes as comfortable as slippers.

I have wide feet and after giving birth to Mr K six years ago my shoes and body sizes have grown significantly! Now I am wearing size 8 shoes with wider feet. Having to find shoes for wider feet are not easy. There are not many brands that have wider feet shoes and usually their ranges are small. I was pleased to find perfect fitting shoes from Hotter. I have found a walking shoe – Mist Sangria, for my school run and for enjoying walks around the countryside. They comes in four different colours: black, navy, sangria and smoke. It is quite a dark red and the style goes well with my usual school run casual attire.

This is a cushioned lightweight shoes with GORE-TEX® lining. It comes with a removable antibacterial cushioned insole and a waterproof lace up that keeps feet fresh. There is room for my toes to wiggle around. I took a while to get used to the shoes as they are so light that I had to check that I was wearing shoes! Even though they are so light, there is no discomfort on my soles when walking through stones and uneven ground. The secret of the soles is that they are filled with millions of air bubbles that help to take the pressure off your feet. I love walking in these shoes and would recommend them to others. It comes in sizes 3 to 9 with some extra fit options.
