Under The Weather Wendy: A Colour-in Picture Book is an ebook illustrated by Kate Edmunds. She is a former TV graphic designer and became a full-time illustrator after the birth of her children. Greatly influenced by Tim Burton, Kate has always loved writing and illustrating her own children’s stories, conjuring up weird and wonderful characters. Her love of textiles is a bit of an obsession which she also incorporates into her designs.
Eggnogg has grown from developing a range of greeting cards to keeping little people busy with a unique range of colour-in products. The products have a no-nonsense attitude that both children and adults adore. The bold designs allow for scribbles to find their way between the lines, helping challenge the senses through colour, texture and humour.
This free download is only valid for World Book Day (6 March 2014), after which it’ll cost a nominal fee of 99p per download.
Thanks to Eggnogg, we had downloaded a copy beforehand. Do remember to tweet Go #ColourCrazy on #WorldBookDay with @eggnoggcards.
These are my children having fun colouring in the picture book. There are 31 pages with fun illustrations. It is about Wendy who had a bad day because the rain cloud kept following her everywhere. She is trying her best to get rid of her rain cloud by hoovering it and chasing it away. Luckily, she woke up the next day in a bright and sunny mood.
What do you do when you have a bad day? What will make you happy? Buying new shoes? Going for a run? Or maybe hoovering them up? For me, I like to eat chocolate and watch TV or maybe have a rant on social media like Facebook or Twitter! So beware!
Disclosure: We have downloaded it free for the purposes of writing this review, however, all thoughts and opinions remain our own.
