Muddypaws’ New Friends is a book written by Steve Smallman and illustrated by Simon Mendez. It was released on 19 April 2013 and published by Parragon Publishing.
The book is paperback containing about 32 pages. The font is mostly in one size, and it has simple words and is easy to read by school children. Each page contains a good amount of sentences and beautiful illustrations.
The book tells the story about Ben who is Muddypaws’ best friend, but when Ben goes to school, Muddypaws has to stay at home. Then one day, Ben takes Muddypaws to school but it is a puppy school where he meets two canine friends. Muddypaws and his friends learn new tricks. Three dogs and each has their own unique personality.
This is a very fun and light hearted book to read at bedtime with both children. It also helps children understand that dogs do go to school. We don’t have any pets at home and this is a nice book to introduce them to some different types of dogs and their personalities. This is definitely a great book for younger children and dog lovers.
