Respect and Remember

6 September 2013 by Eileen

Wars and Armed Forces are always a very sensitive topic to touch on. I personally do not like wars but we have to remember the heroes who fights in the wars. My dad always told me stories of how life was so difficult when the Japanese invaded Singapore. They had suffered 3 long years before the wars ended.  Without the sacrifice of those war heroes, there would not be peace.

Arthur Price and Laurence Llewelyn Bowen have created a new range of gifts called ‘Remember’ in aid of The Royal British Legion Women’s Section. The RBLWS is a membership organisation for women which provides care and support to the Serving and ex-Service community. For over 90 years, their welfare schemes have helped thousands of men, women and children within the Armed Forces community who are in financial hardship or in need of extra support.

Respect and Remember gifts

The fivestrong gift range which includes an iPad cover, umbrella, journal, tote bag and china mug is being launched to the general public in early Autumn, before the annual Remembrance Day Memorials, and will be used by the RBLWS as a fundraiser.

A proportion of the sales from all items in the Arthur Price Remember range will be donated to The Royal Women’s British Legion, a message which is supported by POS and the packaging. Please help support them as much as you can.

Respect and Remember Simon Price

Simon Price, Arthur Price CEO said: “I’m humbled to be part of this project. The work done by our Servicemen and Women deserves credit, admiration and support and I hope that this new gift range will help contribute to the lives of these brave people via an amazing organisation, the Royal British Legion Women’s Section.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen designed the range said: “I’ve always been a great supporter of our armed forces and the work of the Royal British Legion Women’s Section is fantastic and I’m delighted that my new designs will be bringing not just a smile but financial gain for this worthwhile organisation.”

Whatever your views on war, people went and fought and they had no choice. And they and their families should be looked after and respected.

Hello!

Welcome to ET Speaks From Home!

Hi, I’m Eileen — a mum of two teenagers, aged 18 and 16, and a passionate lifestyle blogger sharing snippets of family life, creativity, and culture since May 2012. My daughter lives with visual impairment, and our journey together has shaped much of the heart behind this blog.

What started as a small space to document family memories has grown into a vibrant corner of the internet where I share my love for cooking, crafting, DIY projects, Chinese culture, parenting, and honest product and YouTube reviews. Whether I’m creating festive crafts, exploring Chinese traditions, or trying out new recipes, I hope to inspire others through everyday moments from home.

Over the years, ET Speaks From Home has been recognised by several parenting and blogging communities, including:
