Justin’s World Jigsongs App

10 September 2013 by Eileen Leave a Comment

Every child will know Britain’s best-loved children’s entertainer Justin Fletcher MBE, – also known as Mr Tumble!  Now he has launched Justin’s World.  It is a new range of apps for pre-school children.
Both of my children adore him and still watch Mr Tumble, Justin’s House and Jollywobbles!  This coming Thursday, I am hosting the #SomethingSpecialParty.  My children can’t wait to play with the toys!
I downloaded the app ‘Jigsongs’ from Justin’s World which is aimed at children aged 2 – 6 years and it is priced at 69p.  It is a puzzle game but with a special sing along musical twist!
There are four puzzles to choose from:
1. Old Macdonald
2. Twinkle Twinkle
3. 1,2,3,4,5
4. The Grand Old Duke of York
There are three levels to choose from for each puzzle: Easy, Middle and Hard which come in 6, 12 and 15 pieces.  Both my children find it fun and enjoy playing with it.  The puzzle featuring Justin is very colourful, bright and has a cute background.  They find it easy to do the puzzle and feel very proud once they complete the puzzle as Justin will come alive and sing!
I would say this is suitable for children from 2 – 4 years old.  Although there are only four puzzles and children will get bored, I do think this is good value for money as it costs just 69p to buy.  In Justin’s Worlds apps, there is no in-app purchasing which is great news for parents!
Beside this Jigsongs app, they also release three more apps:
•    Justin’s World – Goldilocks £2.99
It is an interactive adaptation of the popular children’s story. Justin guides and helps you through a series of number and language based activities in line with the EYFS. All characters played by Justin Fletcher
•    Justin’s World – Letter Sounds £1.49
To pick the letter that matches the sound then drag and drop to complete the word! Developed in line with the Primary National Strategy, this phonics activity features Justin teaching the sound and letting the child join in.
•    Justin’s World Animal Sounds
A free app with Justin’s hilarious impersonations of well known animals.
